The Big Birthday Bash launched on Saturday with an announcement that this year there is an expansion of the music licenses available for the royalty-free tunes and royalty-free sound effects.

Already revealed:

Personal Use Licenses – in addition to a standard end-user license, you may now be able to also request a sub-license for your business partner or freelance video developer.

With the Production Studio Expanded Use License, one sub-license can be requested (and then issued) to allow a second person to also download the music tracks or sound effects that you have paid for.

Cool huh?

New Licenses For Resale:

Reseller Standard <<<   a grab and go license for you to sell the pack “as is”

Reseller Expanded Use <<<   Some extra rights accompany this license, such as the ability to add the collection to your paid membership site, or use it as a bonus for your similarly priced product.

Private Label Expanded Use <<< With this license you can segment the collection into smaller bite-sized pieces, and you can mix and match music files and sound files from a variety of the packages that you download.  You can also re-title the collection.

Ownership <<< well it’s pretty much what it implies.  The masters can be purchased outright, and then the song (or collection) will be removed from the catalog.  And once you own the masters … you’ll have plenty of freedom to give them away, or come up with your own licensing – even MRR.  ONLY ONE of these ownership licenses will be sold.  (So yes you can expect that it comes with a hefty price tag.)

Where can you get the new stuff?

The latest sound effects collection now has a variety of licenses to choose from.  Here are the details and samples

New Licensing is available right here and a comparison grid can be downloaded.
